Truck Stops You May Not Know About
We’re obsessed with truck stops and are always on the lookout for different ones across the US. Expanding on the truck stops we’ve already discussed, there are some new or newly serviced ones you may not have heard about yet. Knowing the locations of as many truck stops as possible doesn’t hurt when building your list of favorites for the next run; today, we’re adding more.
New Love’s Truck Stop Locations

All truckers are aware of Love’s Travel Stops because it’s a convenient chain stop offering basic amenities many drivers look for. The familiar yellow and black sign with its stacked hearts beckons drivers around the US looking for a place to rest. In the past few months, Love’s has expanded its truck stops across the US, adding plenty of jobs and, most importantly, parking spaces. Finding parking is a significant issue for truckers looking to park safely at night or for a short rest during the day. Crowded stops and limited spaces make it difficult for truckers to park whenever necessary. With the addition of Love’s locations, truckers have more space to park, fuel, and grab coffee and snacks.
Shelee’s Travel Center

Shelee’s is a newer truck stop located in the Coachella Valley. Inspired by Ava the Desert Tortoise, Shelee’s Travel Center embodies the Chemehuevi culture of that area in their “roadside oasis” travel center. The green tortoise will call you to their fuel pumps and other amenities. You may run across it on the way to Arizona if your route takes you in that direction. Convenience is key at Shelee’s, and besides having everything you can dream up in the store, the Kupi coffee shop has all your caffeine and quick grab pastry needs, whether a straight black is your jam or a smooth latte topped with creamy foam.
Mojave Truck Stop

Located in Mojave, California, the Mojave Truck Stop is a quaint little “desert oasis” where truckers can escape the heat and take a load off for a while. The low-key truck stop offers truck parking, fueling, clean showers, and eating places. Desert areas around the US can be taxing to drive in, with nothing around but the cliché tumbleweed or two. Finding a truck stop in these areas can feel like a mirage, but it’s real with the Mojave Truck Stop.
Finding a good truck stop can be a relieving sight after a long day on the road, and the search is never over. Share with fellow drivers and us whenever you come across a truck stop worth mentioning so we can add it to our maps next time.
