The Future Is Looking Bright For Trucking
The Future Is Looking Bright For Trucking

The trucking industry could fully recover by the third quarter of 2021 and it is expected that, by that time, the truckloads would return to pre-pandemic levels, according to forecasts from FTR Transportation Intelligence from December 2020.

It all depends on the driver pool that continues to be limited, and it is believed that this would all change with the COVID-19 vaccines available.

There are also opinions stating that the pandemic has just highlighted inefficiencies in the transportation industry that have gone on for a long time and that this is going to be a transitional year that will hopefully lead to new and better practices in trucking.
