Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Entry Level Diesel Mechanic Helper / Parts Runner to support our maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone familiar with trucks and parts, highly organized, and eager to learn the diesel trade. Spanish fluency is required, as many of our team members and vendors communicate primarily in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Purchasing & Delivery — Pick up, deliver, and return parts for our fleet.
Inventory Management — Maintain an organized parts room, track stock levels, and ensure accountability for all parts.
Shop Support — Assist mechanics with inspections, small repairs, and simple part replacements when time permits.
Documentation — Use basic computer tools to log parts and update inventory records.
Spanish Communication — Communicate effectively with Spanish‑speaking mechanics, vendors, and drivers.
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish (required)
Familiarity with trucks, diesel components, or automotive parts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
